RAINBOW

There forms a painted horizon,
A gifted haze in bloom,
That marks a rare occasion,
With an ornamental hue,
And the woven airs aglow,
With the fabled rainbow.Β

A mirage that's a blushing temptress,
That can never be held by man,
She fades without the politeness,
To hurry back again,
She neither knows nor cares,
She just floats upon the air.

A metaphor for a maiden ?
Or a bridge to the Asgardian realm ?
My troubled mind is laden,
For the gold thats never found,
And to never comprehend,
What lies at the end.
