Rainforest Part 1

Rainforest Part 1

Plip plop.
Drip drop.
From trees aloft,
To lily pad tops.

Busy in the waters,
Searching, hunting, living, thriving.
Wondering eyes,
Curious and watchful.

In a flash, a tongue,
Got one.
Dinner? More like lunch.
Swallowed with a crunch.

Thunderclaps call,
Heavier drops fall,
Time to get some rest,
A peaceful life,

Who would have guessed?
The Fish of the Sea.
