Rather be a faint memory than a constant Reminder

Rather be a faint memory than a constant Reminder

Making you happy when I met you was my only choice,

When I fell you fell with me,

You couldn't pickĀ me up so I drifted off,

Either your or me could make the pain stop,

You said, I hid, and now your number is on block,

We both cried but we agreed to be done,

Distance never brought back the love and fun,

Every phone call and meeting ends with fighting,

This love lost its lighting,

I rather be a faint memory than a constant reminder,

A reminder of broken promises
