Poem -

the Razor

There is no pain like the pain of the razor

The sharp bite and the moment of bliss as it removes the pain in your mind.

The dull ache as the triple stripe touches your clothes, fresher than toothpaste.

The burn of the compression bandage against the raw wound, keeping the real pain at bay.

The pain in the mind

There is no pain like a razorblade, the deep self hatred dredged form the soul,

Waiting for the moment of bliss.
