"Realignment"

"As all of my dreams,
I made with,
a closed fist,
I know now,
there was something,
I really missed.

A collapse of the transmission,
between the radio,
and it's frequency,
that led to my downfall,
and my deliquency,
and as the bad signal,
came more into tune,
I started feeling empty and alone,
even with people in the room.

I became lost,
in the woes of my mind,
and drank myself forgotten,
and believed time wasn't kind,
but inches from death,
I became awakened,
and now The 12 Steps,
have been undertaken,
and now I know,
without God,
that's why I lost my way,
but with The Right Path,
realigned,
I know it was me,
and not time,
that wasn't kind,
and that,
God is my soul,
and He makes me shine!"
