Reborn

Unquenched I wander in wonder at dawn of new night,
Unquenchable thirst tears me asunder before dusking bright.
Moonlight so bright like never before seen,
Casts down upon my tomb of gloom elegant and pristine.

Upon a slab of stone, I groan in weep in dire of such loss,
My broken vessel sets alight in fire bestowed incessant cost.
My rescuer, malevolent, stands in wait like a candid thief,
Intolerant of good nature he grins in state as I fill with much grief.

Pain leaves swiftly, thrifty I awake drained of life,
Tainted kiss destroys all of what I used to thrive.
Malefic in thought, distraught I once was, I bloom,
Like a new creature stalking the night from cist exhumed.

I see new wonders, I plunder like a child from birth,
I seek to end cravings of hunger and engage in much mirth.
Careless I roam, beautiful and reborn,
Free of humans in flounder and mourn.

Power flows through, I rue of days before,
The world is now mine n thine we stand in amour.
