Thy prayer answerth thou;

'that humans pass',

thou passeth now.

Now thy hammer shall nail,

thine nail obey,

and thine a wooden jail.

Thy prayer answerth thou;

'that thine be bought',

thou buyest now.

Now thy account shall swell,

the blind shall beg,

thy tribute written in braille.

The same nail, wood and hammer,

shalt end thy stammer.
