Poem -

The Rebound

You left me again tonight, no emotion on your face. My heart beat fast against you, but now you leave no trace. You're gone without resistance, the tail lights fade away. Her hold on you is stronger. My words can't make you stay. Your glances always take my breath. Your touch ignites my skin. If only I could keep you close. Oh, what a mess I'm in.
