RECALL THE NIGHT

RECALL THE NIGHT

This past week
My nights have been
So long and lonely
I struggled
With every fleeting second

I feel so empty without you
I tell my heart, not to cry
But these nights of loneliness
Has multiply tenfold the unsatisfied
Hunger and thirst for your love

The lingered smell of your perfume
Has long gone, stolen by the wind
Your smile, is beginning to fade
From the resources of my mind

I am exposed
To the elements of negative thoughts
Pounding on the door of my trust
And badly need to hear
The sound of your voice

I am becoming weaker, day by day
Because of the absence
Of your embrace
And the inviting kisses from your lips

O that these days of separation
Like rain once hidden in the clouds, fall
And the nights of being without your love
Be recalled.
