RECIPE FOR DISASTER!!

RECIPE FOR DISASTER!!

First you get TWO friends

And a bucket full of mud

THREE spoons for each of you

Now you can start to make your pud!!

FOUR worms from the garden

Fat and juicy are the best

Find your Mum’s best baking bowl

Put her patience to the test!

The next step’s not so easy

Pull FIVE hairs from grandpa’s head

Wait for him to fall asleep

Whilst in the potting shed

SIX bugs you will now need

You could try a few small ants

These are not for mixing

But to put down grandpa’s pants!!

This baking lark ain’t easy

Got SEVEN spiders now to find

Must return to Grandpa’s shed

Mum says “He’s got an axe to grind!?!”

Jim and Jane they ain’t much help

They’ve been messing with the mud

The bathroom sink’s now full of goo

It’s caused the room to flood!!

“Oh no!!”  I hear Mum shriek

The kitchen ceiling starts to swell

EIGHT fizzing holes of water

Fill a bucket like a well!!

NINE is for the lives

That I think I’m going to need

My Mum is real angry

She says I did an awful deed!!

But now old gramp’s forgiven me

I can hang out there a while

Think he’s lost his marbles

All he does is sing and smile!!!

For TEN long boring hours

I laid low in Grandpa’s shed

THANK GOD that Mum’s now come around

I can finally go to bed!!
