Recounting Count Dracula

This tale begins five hundred years ago, about quite a famous Count;
Who lived in Transylvania, in a castle atop a mount!
He was his rich parents only child, they loved him very true;
But when he was twenty, succumbed to illness, leaving him so blue!

A while later, the King sent an invitation, to attend his yearly ball;
He went, and met a lass there, his heart and Soul enthralled!
They pledged their love forever, in only just six weeks;
He had finally re-found happiness, so desperately he seeked!
.
But sadly, with each months passing, she became more and more a shrew;
Instead of speaking sweet words, she was yelling “I hate you”!
She drove him “bloody” crazy, he came up with a master plan;
To invigorate her passion, for he was no ordinary man!
.
At midnight, the next evening, she slept soundly in their bed;
He bit her neck adeptly, and she so minutely bled!
She wakened, and erupted, feeling passion she’d never known;
“I love you my dear Dracula”, she screamed with every moan!

For twenty years they shared necks, but she wasn’t like Count Drac;
She did not have immortality, and succumbed to a Plague attack!
For a while, he sadly mourned her, but then searched for another mate;
His thirst so overwhelming, only blood could it ever sate!
.
One by one he found them, and they’d stay with him some years;
Then surrender to their mortality, but he’d hardly shed a tear!
This tale has no ending, for Count Dracula is still alive;
Biting necks of lovely maidens, forever will he survive!
