Red Heart

Red Heart

she saw him in her heart
surrounded by the red beat
lounging laid back relaxed
in wait for who she had become

trepidations
complications
a work of art
yet not complete

disappearing like a lost wind
surrounding you
touching your every heartbeat
filling the heat of your essence

in anxious wonder
as if time and place lost
eyes that drift closed
memories linger
lips part
stirring need
like a dark desire for you

lust
love

a smile makes its way to you

lounging inside
the red beat
of her heart
