"Reexamine Yourself"

"In learning,
from our transgressions,
we attain progression.
By doing this,
we are slowly,
breaking the cycle,
of our wicked ways,
and learning to cope,
with everything,
by not using dope.

A spiritual growth,
adhered by,
the sober walk,
instead of deceit,
and just sober talk.

The joy,
that you,
so desperately seek,
is acquired,
by turning,
the other cheek,
no matter what,
you face,
and by believing,
in God's Amazing Grace.

So take this time now,
to reexamine yourself,
and the dusty God,
you put away,
on a lonely shelf.
Because He is trying,
to keep you from dying,
by your own hands.
Do you now get it?
Do you finally understand?
