Regressive Hypnosis

Regressive Hypnosis

Sleep engulfed me, until nothing on the horizon,
from my chair I'd been lifted, everything gone;
who would you wished to have been, maybe no one,
we are autonomous, no one like me, or so I thought.

I was wearing a uniform, never really wanted that,
maybe some medals and the zig-zag smile of a cat,
there was a large table with model tanks positioned,
surely it wasn't war games, it wasn't even mentioned.

This was all a bit boring or was it good old Goering,
names on the wall, Mengele, Hess and Richtoffen,
must be a cartoon, nothing was real or even unreal,
you didn't believe it, now you know the way I feel.

So who was I, we drank a toast to victory, a tiny sip,
time to return and then I felt small hair on my top lip.
