Regurgitated

Regurgitated

No new materialΒ
Just regurgitated shitΒ
It leaves a taste in your throat
Like swallowing your own sickΒ

Spoon fed stale music
I'd rather do withoutΒ
Radio 1, Amazon and SpotifyΒ
Even Apple music's all gowk*

This life's been lived before
Nothing original or legit
Originality is encarserated
Popular music's counterfeit
Β
Ears constantly served
With the same festering dish
Like dockside whoresΒ
Pumped full of foul semen...

Stinking of fish!

*Northern English slang for pith of an apple.

I always feel that we are living in the past, like a future us discovered time travel, fucked up and is now living back in the past and we are his past, like his shitty painting.

That's a very interesting theory Gerard, a shitting painting indeed. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Much appreciated - SydΒ

Thank you so much for your kind comment Lisa. I had thought that the vulgar description at the end of this poem might have put some readers off.

Stay safeΒ  - Syd xoΒ
