Released

For a long time I carried so much fury
Had such hatred living within my veins
Slowly releasing its poison and numbing my soul
Compassion, love and respect
Didn't exist in my heart

One look, one kiss, one touch
his words echoed throughout my body
Penetrated my mind, took over my soul
Something so powerful, nothing could stop it
Consumed in the passion, taken by a simple embrace
Compassion, love and respect
Was resurrected back into my heart
