Remember me

Remember me

Remember me
that little girl
you held
and you rocked
in your arms

Do you remember
the one who cried
when you weren't there
when you were out
with friends

Or remember when
I watched the bleachers
waiting to see you
cheer me on
but never did

Remember me
I'm not so little anymore
I'm smarter now
stronger now
I'm older now
