Poem -

Remembering

I see the scars, which haunt me often.

They may bleed, but yet no pain.

Empty feelings of regret and hurt,

But I still let the blood fall to the floor.

Everyone sees but no one understands.

They laugh and point like I have no feelings.

Yet I feel numb and lost inside,

No one can heal my pain.

I’m leaving tonight not like anyone will miss me.

Making sure there is no trace of who I once was.

Goodbye cruel world I’m going to a better life,

Up in the stars where I wont remember.

All the pain and regret of what I was.

Goodbye cruel world I’m going to a better life,

All the pain and regret of what I was.
