Remembering Our Future

Remembering Our Future

The memories of my life with you, are the best I’ve ever known;

Pure passion so unparalleled, each other we have shown!

Two starstruck soulmates who spend each day, bound in beauties bliss;

From dawn to dusk a hundred times, our lips will gentle kiss!

The Angels led us to our sides, almost twenty five years ago;

Out of almost one thousand in a crowd, I saw your wondrous glow!

It took just four days to pledge our love, our souls were joined as one;

We knew our hearts would forever sing, our Dynasty begun!

I know that twenty five years from now, we’ll still be holding hands;

I see us and our lips are locked, still meeting love’s demands!

The future I’m remembering now, because it’s such a “Deja Vu”;

Just like our union’s first perfect half, I’ll forever be loving you!

My Dear Sweet Rose,

I think that twenty five years from now we will have progressed beyond wax, to superglue.  But for right now, we do experience, "paraffin's pleasures".  Thank you for always sticking by us.

Love you too,

Daddio xxx

Larry, my dear friend...

You really are just an Old Romantic, aren't you?! Now I see what Linda sees in you; I still think she's far too good for you: but I see it!!

This is so sweet.

And I love the title...it's so brimming with Hope. Here's to your next twenty-five years!!

?????

your friend & fan,

J ;)

My Dear Friend Jason,

You are usually spot on, but you were wrong on this one!  I am not an "Old Romantic".  I am a Young One.  You know what they say, "You're only as old as you feel".

However, I have to give you credit for your other insight; Linda is far too good for this "bad boy".

Thanks for always having my back.

Peace and Love,

Larry xxx

I`ve got that photo of you both stored in my files now because I`m going to have it printed off and framed for my study wall. I love this romantic piece, she`s a lucky girl to have such lovely poems written for her. Well done for a wonderful poem that has the happy tears flowing today.

I love you both

Our Dear G,

That is so sweet!  We had that taken on a cruise we took a lot of years ago.  He has written a couple of new poems that are really so romantic.  I love them and they really do make me smile.  Thank you for the honor of framing this photo.

All our love,

Linda and Larry xxx

Hi Larry, was a bit stuck for my next poem, your relationship poem was enough inspiration for me to start a new one, I've started writing a comedic poem about a long term fictional relationship. I am about 70% through it as I'm quite meticulous - It may take a while but I'll let you know when it is finished.

Cheers

Hi John,

It is always such an honor when another poet says that your poem has inspired them to write one of their own.  Very interesting that you are writing a comedic one.  Sounds like a real scream, and I can't wait to read it.  Let me know when it's up and running.

Peace and Love,

Nothing can stop either of you.

Not looking at the image only the words.

I am just waking lol.

I cried

It reminded me of one of the poems I wrote for my husband and I.
