Resignation

Resignation

Insufflated hush,
bespoken of the soul-
guarded in saccharine
slips of a swollen kiss;
late hour, mon amour.

This benign mirror
tilts tender touch in
a fleeting moment-
rippling skin with
rosebud flickers,
arise pure placidity
in tippled lake.

Palatial disquiet
in eyes eloquently
boarded with lined
features of an old soul,
a measured jigsaw-
a lovers breath.

Delicate resonation
clutching sincerity-
a divine resolution
in wildfire; absolute.

Resigned in
natural fervour to
foster a hearts content,
mind adrift in waves of delicacy,
bereft, adorned, held,
reborn.

Pleasant to the tongue, pleasing to the ear, I enjoyed the read.
Well penned,
John
