Poem -

Resolved

The sun breaks through the dusty clouds,

Pushing dawn aside,

It is the beginning,

And the end,

Today of all days,

Fate decided,

This sun rise would commend,

New years day;

Time to resolve,

And recreate,

I am sat in school,

Pen poised on paper,

Trying hard to think,

Of a new years resolution,

Should I be more independent?,

Should I study harder?,

Should I be reaching higher levels?,

In the end I settle,

On not wasting time,

Conjuring up new years resolutions,

Carpe diem.
