REST

I'm learning how to breathe
How to bask in His love
How to rest, be still
And all the above
You see; I find that I'm busy
Trying hard to be good
Trying to earn His love somehow
Trying to do what I should
While I'm running all around
Trying hard to please
He's having to corral me in
And put my mind at ease
He said; Rest in my love, child
I've done all there is to do
When I died and rose, I said;
It's finished
And I did all this for you
I've come to give you everything
Just open up your heart
Know that I'm always with you
And My love will never part
