Poem -

Rest well dear world.

Where did good old morals go?
The one's so few and far between
Along with sacred values
They washed down the modern stream

A dream must remain a dream
Our hope shall not redeem
Despair across the land
While snakes make their demand

Ill founded ideas move to a magnitude of fears
Serenity is lost at any given cost
Reasoning has died a thousand deaths
Absurdity is born in every draw of breath

Empathy and sympathy are dared to be conceived
So that the powerhouse of madness can bathe inside its greed

Set alight the fuel, through the terrovision
Send their souls to prison
And inflict it on their minds
Depict the hate and anger
And cut the ties that bind

Kindness died long ago
And made way for ugly sins
And as we lie on sorry earth
Here the end begins

Sadly, this is very much like some I've written! We move on because the only alternative is death!

An excellent written piece my friend!!! Jack
