Restless
I lie in bed,
thoughts running through my head.
It's a tough night tonight,
impatient for the morning light.
Tonight I miss you more than ever,
yearn for a forever.
Tonight I feel your love from a distance,
picturing you this instance.
Love there has always been,
but tonight there is a love even you haven't seen.
Wishing I lay on your chest,
my mind - body - soul - all then could rest.
