Poem -

Tonight

Tonight I feel broken,
old wounds have awoken.
I feel it all again - pain,
whatever did we both gain?
I asked you to love me for a while longer,
thinking it would make me stronger.
But tonight I break,
my heart again at stake.
I yearn for our forever,
to grow old together.
I miss the late night texts,
and knowing when I'll see you next.
It hurts more than ever,
through the memories we built - I try to endeavour.
