Poem -

Restless

I just lie on my bed restless,
Thinking about what you said to me.
I want to turn back the clock just for a moment
Just so I could be there with you.
Instead of being so far away

The only thing that can comfort me,
Is the sound of Aretha’s voice singing
But it’s only for a moment since I am still on my bed
Looking up at the ceiling thinking about you
