Retirement is not a happy time for everyone

but for me it's a time to realize

a number of amazing dreams of my youth

to learn all the secrets that this world

of ours holds secret until we have the time

energy and will to explore and marvel at

the natural wonders we discover

if only at a younger stage in our lives

we had the time and energy to explore

my life has been enriched to an amazing degree

a fulfilling endeavor to finally

have the time and the strong and exciting

desire at the cost of only time cost

and extremely little effort

so all you young folks

retirement is not something to dread

but a new stage that allowed freedom

not experienced through

all your working years... ENJOY!!!
