In Retrospect

Between dusk and dawnÂ
midst of shallow breathsÂ
I was holding a bit of lifeÂ
where I saw flashesÂ
of heaven and hell.
On the outskirts of a dreamy skyÂ
I danced with rainbow colours.Â
The dais sparkles with lightningÂ
but the cloudburst dropped meÂ
like a thundering despairÂ
where I lost betweenÂ
some said and unsaid words.

Dear Maaya Dev,
To me, the life after death consists of the memories that we leave in the minds and hearts of the people we love. Obviously, we all want to leave a heritage for the world, but it’s given to very few of us to do that. Nature is cyclical and recurring. Just look—in the last few years all the green stuff has come out, birds are chirping, everything is renewed. Nature is an environment in which we die so others may live, so that our civilization can expand, so new ideas and experiences can be promulgated. Why should human beings be an exception to all the other biological phenomena?
Great write dear Maaya Dev, the Poetess of spirituality ( I wish to address you like that, hope you understand its meaning in real terms)

Poetess Maaya,
An excellent, elegant background image for the poem, suggest you to write two of your favorite lines below or on the poem itself which will contribute a better artistic look, images will give a good impression too
