Poem -

Ride those waves

High winds send the waves crashing against the rocks,

Salty spray in the air,

Gaze into the horizon,

The wind throws back my hair,

All thoughts escape my mind,

Just stood there empty,

Then an inner warmth arrives,

It fills me plenty,

You see we are like these rocks,

On the sea front,

We take every blow,

With the occasional moan and grunt,

We get it from all angles,

And it just comes back stronger,

Thinking this one will end them,

They can take it no longer,

But these rocks don't crumble,

Nor shall I,

And this makes me smile,

As I know gaze at the sky,

I just think 'yeah keep coming'

As I'll ride this wavy storm,

From morning till night,

Dusk till dawn
