Right wing party

~~There’s a right wing party, do you want to come?
But wait, don’t get too excited
If your colour or religion is different
You’re probably not invited

Birthday and wedding parties are so much fun
They bring people together
But right wing parties cause divisions
Which never makes things better 

If someone from a minority commits a crime
The whole community they’ll blame
And even though everyone’s an individual
They’ll say, “look, they’re all the same”

Like an abusive partner, their leaders say
Look how bad the others are, can’t you see?
We need to join together against them
You’re better off with me

Right wing parties don’t sound like fun
I’ve heard the foods not good either
The main dish they keep serving up
Is tension topped with racist fever

Hatred and tension pull people apart
They can never lead to peace or bliss
If you get invited to a right wing party
It’s best to give it a miss.
