R.I.P

I'm not going to grieve today
put my feelings in a box and hide it away
Buried deep is where they'll stay
Maybe they will show someday

I can't be dealing with the malarkey
Of a funeral with hierarchy
And whilst on the subject i'd better mention
A widow loving all the attention

A final wish of a hymn, a song
That was deemed to be a choice that's wrong
So the final goodbye was not what he planned
Even dead he is suffering for his wedding band

Funerals are such odd affairs... Through grief their is always some underlying contempt at what should be!! (Well in my family anyway)  I'm truly sorry for your loss...I hope you get through this day
