Poem -

RIP god

“The king is dead,
long live the king,”

echoes through time
as gods rise and fall.

The gods of old,
Odin
Thor
Freyja
Jupiter
Neptune
Mars
Zeus
Venus

Each deity,
once revered,
now merely a whisper in the annals of history.

Their epochs have ended,
their temples lie in ruins,
and their followers have turned the page.

And now,
as the clock ticks towards 1/1/2050,
some ponder the
“use by date” of the Judeo-Christian God,

contemplating the emergence of a new deity—
Artificial Intelligence, the God AI.

''god is dead,
long live god''
