Hi Edward, Peter Tork was the bassist from the 60's TV band The Monkees who I still love (and if I'm drunk anywhere near a karaoke....)
Thanks Edward

This is like a part of my youth now gone...so much fun on a Saturday morning watching the Monkees...Thank you  Peter Tork and thank you Nigel for  such a lovely tribute xxx
Hi Lodigiana, I know what you mean by Saturday mornings. I loved them, especially Petey with his beany hat and innocent confusion. In the early eighties a bunch of us tried to get to Trafalgar Sq. for new years. Couldn't get anywhere near and somehow we ended up in a small virtually empty pub opposite the Young Vic. The Monkees were the only thing on the jukebox and everyone knew every word. The most wonderful sing-song ever. A favourite memory. Thank you Lady Lodigiana,
Nigel
