Road to Go

Road to Go

Young man you have a road to go

The ribbon you followed lead no where

You trust so generously

and who did you hurt

and it wasn’t just you

The length of your neck

Too much to bare

and theirs were open

with hair over ear

Smirking you dug in

and you knowingly sucked

Leaving hard conversations

After feeling stuffed

A handful of days with constipation

and the worst repentance

Push down your regret

To stomach another bright meal

Dead stars sit in your darkness

Your problems are getting too high

Steadfast towards your throat

Coming up as obvious lies

Your diet is different

from food to feelings

Starvation makes your centre speak

Its agony is heard

When you lay to sleep

Beautiful artwork!! I too, am an artist. It never ceases to amaze me what the mind is capable of creating. Whether we're up, or we're down, you're way of aligning the words together the way you did was such an interesting... sound....

Great piece by all means!!!

thank you for the comment! it’s interesting how poems can write them selves sometimes. expression becomes necessary when the potency of a feeling becomes overbearing.
