Rope Of Life

Rope Of Life

As I grow older the world is colder
I'm on my own
But I'm a soldier
And I will not give up hope
I'm hanging tight
Onto this rope
And even though
I see in life
How people cut my rope
With knives
And people burn my rope
With flames
I'll let my hands consume the pain
And keep on climbing up this rope
Never give up hope
