O' florid Posy most verbose
Comely wild blush arose
Thorns cast mar on skin
Fragrant cure lingers thin
Plucked by careless hand
Cruelly remits brand
Prickly tis will to console
For lapse, I accept toll
Exotic, ornate bloom
Expel ambrosia perfume
Thirsty petals silken wisps
Gingerly graze fingertips
Beauteous by nature fair
Graceful blossom so rare
Angelica rosΓ© divine
Alas permit thee mine
