The saddest thing

I once knew a man

Well aged

A good friend

He said it was his "anniversary"

I said "go spend it with your wife"

He said "she hates me"

I said "that can't be true"

I thought that can't be true

And gave him something to do

Go buy your wife some flowers

I said "she will love you"

I thought she will love you

But little did I know

She tossed it at him so

That PINK ROSE

That is why I'm sad

I never thought a rose

Could end up being soaked

In a beer filled bottle

Instead of fine glass

That is why I'm sad
