Rosy Lea

Rosy Lea

I may not be your cup of tea
but, that's just fine
maybe I'm just too hot?
boiling on your tongue?
or too sweet?
not sweet enough?
perhaps too strong for your taste buds?
too cold?
too weak?
or if instead of milk which you may prefer
I'm full of lemons
you see, I decide my own consistency
not you
so if you don't want me
don't like me
just put me down
and move on to your next mug
because...
whether, I’m wrapped in porcelain or not
I’m happy with me.

Ooh... light hearted on first read but saying something so so much deeper. As I am of a similar mindset ( age does that don't you think? ) I like this very much x
