Have you heard the rumors lately going around,
there was no beating around the bush and now the talk of the town.
Like a wild fire it catches, with no means, of being put out,
not a word of it true, for the low road, was its route.
You know they talked about God and he was more perfect than any,
they said, ''he wasn't worth a quarter, dime, nickle, not even penny''.
It read like an open book, more fictitious than fact,
and the damage they brew, is worse than a safe, illegally cracked.
But if I had a penny, for every rumor that has been told,
no need would I have, for any diamonds, pearls are pure gold.
As catchy as the common cold, once they are released into the air,
some cases the talk of the party, to go without saying, that's rare.
So if your practice is this preaching, prepare with destiny your date,
for what goes around, surely comes around, with no means of escape.

Thank you dearly brother Tony and how fluently, the thoughtful compliments flowed and I,(coming from you dear friend), pretending to be the (catchers-mit), snagged each and every spoken word and might I add, yours are words of generosity and sincerity and in your own way, can’t be duplicated by many and when you go full throttle,(not by any). To say that the effect of rumors..are damaging..to say the least....and you couldn't have captured it better with this ....

I really enjoyed this poem, I too agree that for rumors to be started is an act to defy God, Since God can exist in the spirit of any human by choice of a human, then rumors can block the spirit from connecting to another spirit, that disables the ability for God to work through people. This poem is very well written and intelligently done.
