Run away
Run away
To be alone
To go through this marathon life without you
Not knowing how to quit you
Not knowing how to give up
To run away
But you can't forget
Memories that chase you
Because you don't want them
To disappear forever
Would it make a difference
Would it change
Will it take away the pain
Burn the memories that haunt you.
Afraid to cry incase you can't stop
Afraid to scream incase someone heard you
There's no cure for a heavy heart
Because sometimes love doesn't last forever.

Wow.... this is truly heartfelt Dominic... I think we all regret things or experiences we have had in the past. But some part of me seems to belive that they are what makes us into the people we are today. By consolation, I really enjoyed this peom (even though it was the picture that drew me in ;) ) and found your structure and repetition very engaging. Oh I only wish peace fore you. Kind regards.
