Sacrificial Lamb Chops

Standing at the crime scene
with his Mrs accomplice
Adam had to choose
between Love or obedience..

Does he turn her in
for her original sin
or take that fatal
accomplice bite
and share Eve's punishment?

One stinking rule
was all they had to observe..

Matters not
that a victim 
of sly deception was she
but not he..

Adam made his free will choice
and took his poison
like a dutiful husband should..

Shared the forever banishment
as man and wife..

For you see
to Adam and Eve
the vow of for better or worse
was more than a throw away pledge
It came attached
with bitter consequence
as they paid the high cost
of their marital obligation..

As we their children
to this day
who mourn the tragic sacrifice
that our Paradise Lost tribe
can readily attest..

Human relationships can be such a bitch
