SAFE HAVEN

SAFE  HAVEN

Nowhere is safe, although maybe we are the best,
no tornadoes, hurricanes or anything put to the test;
three hundred feet above sea level, no rivers or big trees,
so no floods, fires, bombed hospitals or other calamities.

They find documents - an account of dreadful 2022,
why didn't we join WW3 - who wanted such reality?
Destruction, an interruption to our usual lifestyle?
Aliens watched - viewing foolishness all this while.

God's creation blown apart by the tree of knowledge,
no appreciation for we'd been granted fantastic privilege;
what fools we turned into - could not behave decently,
the idiots we became when we were given so beautifully.

It can not happen again - get out the Ark for Godssake,
delete false gratuity, no rewards for all the land you can take.
