Normal, what is normal ? Trapped by ones own mind.

Self imposed sentence, when or how did it begin. Safe inside four walls

Excuses not to leave the sanctuary soon wear thin.

Made plans to go out could never be used

Darkness provides security, no one can see me, I cannot see them

Exposed and vulnerable in the light.

The dark is a protective blanket

Keeping the company of shadows. Safe inside four walls

Minds can create enemies we do not know and will never meet. 

Constantly reminding of the dangers beyond boundaries.

Keep safe, that is all that matters

It all makes sense to me but not to others. Why should it matter to them. I am safe inside four walls
