Sail Away

Sail away my precious puppy, float straight up to Heavens’ gate;

I’m sure that God will greet you there, my departed dear soulmate!

For he’s been watching all your deeds, and your purity of heart;

Now he’s making you an “angel dear”, and you’ll have a brand new start!

And I know he’ll let you visit me, for he knows my need is bad;

And that since the night you had leave me, my heart has been so sad!

He’ll give to you a rainbow, so you can bring it down to me;

At its end will be my lost soul, and again, I’ll happy be!

You’ll stay with me a while, then fly back up to the sky;

But now instead of sad ones, “happy tears” my eyes will cry!

For you said God told you to tell me, “not to worry anymore”;

That when it comes “my” time to visit, “you’ll be waiting at His door”!
