Saint And Sinner

Saint And Sinner

Life has been rough
My soul seems sold
My heart aches
My feet has nowhere to go
but this sanctuary
Preach
Reach
I’m lost just where you find me
Take from me not
for I’m broken
Don’t punish me from the pulpit
Your words are breaking the pieces
I know I couldn’t be strong
I know I knew right but chose wrong
The yelling is not helping
The sinner has to be slain
but does the sinner not deserve to be saved?
Don’t sacrifice me on the altar
Don’t justify my slaughter
I know I’m not justified
I'm here to be purified
Don’t put be on the crucifix
I’m here to be fixed
Don’t push me away
My soul cries to be saved
