Samhain

Samhain

Harpy, harpy what have you done?
Garnered familiars one by one
Chaotic tis murder of crow
Old crone glower, all eyes aglow

Tis season of Samhain, my dear
Blessed fest nothing to fear
Enter ethereal sphere if you dare
Minions shall greet you there

Season tis borne anew
Come bid last year ado
Hush now delectable little pet
Too late now for regret

Foreboding pinions amassed.
Resounding shrills steadfast.
Obelisk flock of ravenous beasts
Manacle laughter, evil feasts

Do the dead know its Halloween?

Really love this poem, I've pinned it to read it later aloud, so the dead can listen while in the ground.
