Sand Castle
Boating Emotions
Iāve never seen youĀ
Lose your coreĀ
Strong enoughĀ
To reach the shoreĀ
Ride the wavesĀ
Your emotions pourĀ
Flow back and splash
Drowning within
A helpless pastĀ
I am in
Though these ropes
Tie down insecuritiesĀ
Anchor great pain
Harbour feelingsĀ
Talk
And dock
Hold the sand
Let it fall
Then build a castleĀ
Knowing it will fall
Or be stomped on.
