'B P D' Disordered thinking!
In realms of stable mentalityΒ
a mind differs from the crowd
moods split and bounce to extremes
and inner pain becomes too loud
Yearning for social interaction
and unconditional care of a lover
while abnormal Β behaviour and instability
Lays a 'to happen?' no way" cover
From a vacuum of numb emptinessΒ
comes a need to feel something
a physical cut and blood to spill
so to reality back to bring
On a island of walked on egg shells
an anger simmers under the skin
to erupt like a paranoid volcanoΒ
controlled emotionally by a butterfly's wing
Balancing on an impulse tightrope
with only suicide to catch
needing immediate professional help
so not to end as a body blood patch
Family and friends fail and flounder
the answer in sands of future maybe
only a conundrum of moods to see
from genetics, nurture, and perhaps hard luck
.........just another disordered personality!

Hi Lisa Thankyou for your comment I hope I did it justice for you. I think my son suffers from this he has all the symptoms and he is waiting to see a therapist. I feel for you as it can be so destressing. I have witnessed so much suffering with my son he self harms and as been suicidal at times. At the moment he seems abit better, such a difficult illness.
I donβt hurt myself but have many destructive traits. Thank u for your beautiful write
