Sarcastic people

Sullen grey earth 
With chimney stacks 
Old bones calling out 
Under a heavy sky 
Sullen grey earth 
With decaying cemeteries 
You know the kind 
Sarcastic people 
Who spend their lives 
Ripping off others 
They eventually die 
As we all do 
In the great chimney stack of 
Earth sky 
As today the Gods pretend 
Making a beautiful rainbow 
Or a waterfall 
Instead shall bring salvation 
Upon this filthy earth 
Sullen sky 
Above these sarcastic people 
Closing the lid on a 
Chapter gone by
