Saturday Morning Lying in Bed

Saturday Morning Lying in Bed

Saturday morning,
Lying in bed
Thinking of the week
That’s just been
The people I’ve met
The things that I’ve learnt
And the various places
I’ve been.
Ā
I think I know who I am
But am not totally sure
In bed and the house
Is a mess
It’s not merely in
The hall mirror
I see my reflection
I know that if
Somewhere'sĀ not clean
Ā
That as a man
On my own
That any visitor sees
My personality
Projected everywhere
The dirty dishes
And pictures on walls
Paperwork piled on chairs.
Ā

It's very hard to find the motivation in everyday life, I feel there is much more to this poem, maybe expand on it after you have decluttered your mind.
